i am getting an error when i try to play music. It be fine yesterday but now i cant play music. I can hear system sounds..but cant music...this is the error (it also happen in itunes!)
Windows Media Player cannot play the directory because there is a problem next to your sound device. There might not be a nouns device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly.
Sound device error on my laptop...support please..?
I suggest you try rebooting the system, this might cure the problem.

goto my computer right click -> handle -> device manager.
try uninstalling and reinstalling the nouns driver.
should work after that.
This happened to me... i go onto my PC manufacturer website and reinstalled the nouns driver. Hope this helps :)
Had exactly equal problem and did as the last individual said, went to PCs website, downloaded drivers, rebooted and worked fine
Go to the manufacturer web site and download the hottest drivers or try one of these sites
