Video card problem?

I enjoy bought an ati 9250 for an upgrade and i have a problem next to it. Everything works just fine but when i am playing video i get this lines all over my eyeshade. I got equal lines when i start the computer before it will run in window too. The mainboard has a video incorporated but i disable it and i am wondering if it could be from it? The MB is a GigaByte P4 titan Ga-8I865GVME. I am not sure if i did the right article in bios since from within i could not disable it - just from window xp

Thank you for your help

Video card problem?

it could be a loose nouns double check your cables and sort sure no pins are damaged
The other video card cannot interfere, respectively monitor is connected to 1 video card, and only that video card can draw to the monitor its attached to (actually, some cards are skilled of linked pursuit to 1 monitor, but certainly no onboard video card would be proficient or useful for that purpose). Are the lines vertical? If so, I judge it's your vsync, and therefore your liven up rate that is the problem. Right click on the desktop, be in motion to properties then settings. Click advanced and find the re-acquaint yourself with rate combo box, select something like 70hz. Consult your monitor and or video card documentation beforehand, because some values can ruin hardware.
