What is RAID controller and does it own anything to do w/audio?

If so, how do we capture it back?

What is RAID controller and does it own anything to do w/audio?

It have nothing to do next to audio. It is used for creating virtual large disk storage space using multiple disks.
RAID have nothing to do next to Audio.

Check this lik for an explanation of RAID
RAID stands foredundant Array of Inexpensive (or Independent) Drives (or Disks).

Theses are groups of hard drive put together within order to prevent notes losses due to hard drive dead loss and some times accelerate access to information.

This has nought to do with audio devices. But, when using your PC to store, register and manage audio files it could be worth have such hardware in place (nota: some RAID can be software and do not require hardware even though more simplified when using hard RAID controller)
RAID within an acronym for Redundant Array of Independent disks. It is a technology for preventing data loss by spreading extra facts across several disks and allowing the contents of a single drive to be reconstructed if a drive is replaced. A RAID controller, is a hardware card that handle the details of this while making the RAID look like a single harddrive to the computer. While RAID doesn't directly own anything to do with the audio, a inaccurate drive on a RAID can degrade the disk deeds to the point that is make streaming audio choppy.
