i enjoy a p5pe-vm asus motherboard with an intel pentium d cpu 2.80 ghz 512 of strike and a 485 w ps. the mother board that i have have an agp slot 8x/4x. i want to get a perfect video card and i was thinking at the
HIS Radeon X1950 Pro / 512MB GDDR3 / AGP 8x / Dual Link DVI / HDTV / Video Card .is it really worth the money to buy it right presently or is it better if i upgrade to a pci-e motherboard and wait some more time to seize a direct x10 videocard.and i have a new question are the direct x9 cards going to dye and are not going to be devout for enything when the direct x 10 is out and if they are not going to dye how much time would i be able to jump with that direct x 9 card that i want to procure.
Video card sound out?
direct x9 cards are gona die when more dx10 cards come out, theres only a few, and u should go and get that card, unless ur gona be playing hte newest games, and if thats the grip then i would suggest getting more run into
DX9 will die. Just when is the thing you have need of to think around. DX10 games wont be out till Fall. It would be best/cheapest if you could hold off buying a card until right roughly then because next you can get the best blow for your buck DX10 card.
To answer your other question... you should clearly switch over to PCI-E. AGP is dead.
