Upgrade bump surrounded by window vista.?

I own just have vista ultimate put on my computer everything works fine. I considered necessary to upgrade my ram so i purchased two 1gb chips but when i put them surrounded by and boot up it askes for the installation cd. I do not have this as a shop upgraded it for me. It is a officially recognized copy of vista and the ram is compatable for my notebook. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THIS WORKING WITHOUT THE CD???

Upgrade bump surrounded by window vista.?

RAM does not require a compact disc, your BIOS and O.S. will automatically detect your RAM.

You can run a free test at http://www.crucial.com and find out what description of RAM (memory) your computer needs. It will automatically examination your system and tell you what you necessitate and have within the computer (each slot).

You can get cheap memory at http://www.tigerdirect.com or http://www.newegg.com
it depends on why its asking for the cd, conceivably the installation was not complete or they moved your frozen drive to another computer to install vista and put it back w/o installing the proper drivers you should ask the shop that upgraded it
They should hold put vista files on your hard drive within a folder called cabs or something specific possibly options.if you rewarded for a copy of vista you should have a disk. hail as the shop and ask about it..did they put 2 sector ions on the hard drive..perchance on the 2nd part ion i would ring the shop.........
