my 1gb usb flash drive be working fine for about a year or so until a few days ago where on earth any computer i put it in would not respond within any way to it human being plugged in, so no 'found contemporary hardware' and it wont show up in My Computer! please is here any way of fixing this, i have a lot of my arts school photography work on there.

hi at hand, you can check if the usb has be picked up by the computer, by right clicking on my computer, and click manage! after go to disk administration, there might be a drive memorandum problem! if you can see it there you can tag on a drive letter to the usb and access it!

yes budge to command prompt and type c:\system32/system/info
if after typing this command you see a long list of numbers afterwards your config.sys is corrrupt and you may need a fragment the registry. failing this you can reproduce the exe files by rebooting the dos folder. matching sort of thing happen to me and this method worked fine good luck
