What is a usb mass storage device& what is it used for?

ok, USB device also called as PEN DRIVES, THUMB DRIVES, even USB DRIVE. Varies surrounded by size and shape, from 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and may be more.

As technology is improving, instead of using compact disc or DVD, most of us use this USB device. Cause, no hassle in have separate burner drives for this CD N DVD.

This USB drive only just need to fix, copy adjectives the contents you want, now remove and use it else where on earth.

Its almost like a floppy, but floppy crashes outstandingly easily, this one is rigid, and cool.

If you dont own any USB drives fixed in your PC, and still showing that USB MASS STORAGE green arrowed god, then, its truly your HARDDISK, surely it must be a SATA HARDDISK, cause the HARDDISK also comes within USB formats, you just call for the CASING to convert it as a USB. Your harddisk is USB supportive, thats y its showing that green little thing.

heat up regards,

next
If you hook up a digital camera with a memory stick contained by it or use a USB key, those are mass storage devices. Plus some printers enjoy readers on them that will show up resembling that.

Hope that helps.
