enjoy tried the trouble shooter and uninstalled and reinstalled, but the message i keep getting is error code 39 cannot read drivers; drivers are corrupted or missing.
What do you do if your dvd and cd-rom drives are corrupted?
u may own a virus ... u could try uninstalling them in device regulator ... uninstall ide also while ur at it .. afterwards scan for hardware changes ... if that doesnt work consequently try a windows repair next to ur OS disk ..
Ohhhhhhhh - it's the DRIVERS that are corrupted, not the drives, those pieces of hardware that don't get virus. This link to Microsoft willl explain the error codes and what to do roughly them.
