I own a W.D. USB hard drive and it will not allow me to put a 4.7gig ISO wallet on it. Warning says I do not own enough space but its a 250gig drive and in that is only 3 gigs on it?
Whats the concord?
Wester Dig rugged DR. misreported space problem?
I think the problem is that the external complicated drive is using FAT32 file system. This cannot clutch files that are that big. Best thing to do would be to cart stuff off the external drive, format the external drive as NTFS and after copy the stuff back again. You will afterwards be able to copy the 4.7GB ISO report accross.
Update.
NTFS is the Windows XP native database system so will work with XP and latter operating systems. And yes, just format it as long as you enjoy taken the data stale first. Do this by reight clicking on the drive letter for the external drive and click format. Select NTFS as the profile system and do a quick format if you want to squirrel away time.
WD hard drives do come formatted for FAT and you inevitability to reformat to NTFS. In Vista contol panel, the problem took care of itself using the rescue icon.
