4GB USB flash drive. All background is about 1.2GB on that drive. Will I run into trouble because of durability? Should I simply purchase an external HDD. I never unplug the device.
Should I trust a USB Flash Drive to be the disk drive for my bureau accounting software?
Definitely , lacking any doubt, an external HDD is worth a buy for backup. You might use the flash drive for temporary purposes but for zilch permanent. You might lose the USB drive anytime as its small and if the flash drive get corrupted you cannot do anything.
flash drives are very adjectives transportation wise, are impressively small, and if you drop a flash drive it will still work but if you use an external HDD you will probably have to verbs aboout all three.
Buy a second flash drive and you should be upright to go. That bearing you backup your backup. Thumb Drives do fail occasionally. As a not easy disk, it is just fine. External tough drives can wear out too. For that matter, your computer will probably wear out up to that time the Flash Drive does. Keep using it, no worries. I have one I convey around my neck. I preserve everything a company of 300 employees requests in overnight case of fire.
I do not trust removable drives without some big-hearted of encryption just contained by case it falls into the wrong hand i.e a compeditor's C.E.O. or a lawyer who works for an opponent.
