Sound problems?

i enjoy a problem with my nouns on my computer, it is playing sounds all distorted and slow on ocassion, i own an onboard soundcard and i have already updated the driver, what else can i do to find it to work normally

Sound problems?

You may check your memory and system resources as man low on resources can cause music to skip around and be sketchy. To do this on XP click ctrl+alt+del and select deeds tab. See how much processor is being used within percentage and then contained by Physical memory see how much is available.

You can do a clean boot to demarcate your programs running and to check your sound card. To do this click start > click run > type msconfig (w/o quotes) > click ok > click the startup tab > uncheck adjectives and restart your computer > test the nouns if it is still sketchy then you should install a pci nouns card. Then go contained by and recheck your items in msconfig using alike steps as above.

I would suggest a creative sound card but in that are other cheaper brands out there. Just check out http://www.newegg.com for nouns cards. Good Luck HTH
