The shift switch disabled on my grand piano how do i fix it.....i hold an hp the ivories?

i dont know but soon i accidentaly pressed something on the keyboard and from next it stopped working please help......

The shift switch disabled on my grand piano how do i fix it.....i hold an hp the ivories?

That sounds similar to a problem that is coming from the computer, not the the ivories itself.



First make sure you didn't put into action sticky keys by pressing the shift key 5 times surrounded by a row.



If that doesn't work, reboot the computer (if you haven't already)



If rebooting doesn't work, go into your BIOS settins and construct sure your keyboard is configured properly.



If that doesn't work, later I'm stumped.
Reboot your computer. Original keyboard function/settings should comeback.



Otherwise you may hold some debris lodged underneath the knob.



Disconnect keyboard and flip upside down on a towel.



Gently stroke keyboard on the towel.



Flip over. Blow nouns underneath the key, You can blow or seize a can of compressed air.



If push button doesn't work still, you may have to replace it.
