There are many types, but what you inevitability to know about are SDRAMM surrounded by the system (more is better) and DDR2 or DDR3 video ramm. DDR2 is standard, 128, 256 and 512 are standard (256 best bang for the buck) . Make sure your vide card ramm is NOT turbocache (shared beside system ramm)
